The technical bit
This original tall carved wooden lamp probably dates from the early 1900’s. All the carving is undamaged and the original weighted base intact. It has been sympathetically cleaned with a professional wood cleaner but not stripped back so as not it’s natural patina and finished with a wax polish before being lightly buffed. Rewired on a vintage style braided cable with a new old stock original bakelite b22 switched lamp holder.
For overseas buyers this can be supplied with a EU or US plug together with a bulb converter from bayonet to small Edison screw
For US buyers this lamp will be tested in a 240V to 120V stepdown voltage converter which will ensure that it will be suitable for a US supply.
