This vintage wood bankers style desk lamp will be perfectly at home in your 1920s quirky British decor. This will make a gorgeous accent light in a vintage setting or in a lounge with a more modern contemporary look as an eye catching statement piece.
The technical bit
This is a marriage of two 1920’s lamps to form a unique and stunning bankers style desk lamp. The chrome lamp head was originally on a bracket designed to hang on a bed head. The chrome has been sympathetically cleaned and has some very minor pitting. The original hand made glass diffuser is intact and rotates freely allowing the desired amount of light. To comply with safety standards the metal bulb holder has been replaced with a double insulated e14 small Edison screw bakelite fitting. Mounted on a wooden lamp base from the same period and rewired with a braided cable with a contemporary inline switch.
For overseas buyers this can be supplied with a EU or US plug.
For US buyers this lamp will be tested in a 240V to 120V stepdown voltage converter which will ensure that it will be suitable for a US supply.
