This vintage french bedside table lamp is a lovely example of chateau decor. This chamberstick lamp will make you smile as it reminds you of the Wee Willie Winkie nursery rhyme. The lamp is beautifully carved and has bags of character and vintage charm. This beautiful lamp comes with both the flicker flame bulb and the shade and will make a gorgeous accent piece in a vintage setting.
The technical bit-
This Chalkware chamber stick style lamp dates from the 1940’s-1950’s. The vintage miniature e14 bulb holder is hidden within the candle effect tube and can be used to hold a flame style bulb but also comes with a golf ball bulb allowing attachment of a shade. The original gold gilded paint has been repainted and the lamp rewired with contemporary gold cable and an inline switch. Is comes together with the contemporary clip on shade pictured.
