This vintage french bedside table lamp is a lovely example of 1950’s chateau decor. This chamberstick lamp will make you smile as it reminds you of the Wee Willie Winkie nursery rhyme. The lamp is beautifully carved and has bags of character and vintage charm. The addition of the candle shade with cherubs is the icing on the cake. This beautiful lamp will make a gorgeous accent piece in a vintage setting.
The technical bit-
This chamber stick style lamp dates from the 1950’s and is made from plaster built around a metal frame. Often found badly damaged this is a really clean example without damage. Cast in the sculptured form of a chamber stick complete with candle and fitted with a chandelier style e14 Edison screw bulb holder it is Rewired on vintage style braided cable with a vintage inline switch. The lamp is fitted with original candle shade loader and comes with the paper shade shown but any standard candle shade will fit.
For overseas buyers this can be supplied with a EU or US plug
For US buyers this lamp will be tested in a 240V to 120V stepdown voltage converter which will ensure that it will be suitable for a US supply.
