This very large wrought Iron & orange blown glass table lamp would fit in with any decor from Art Deco, Art Nouveau or contemporary styles. Dating from the 1930’s-40’s it will have originated in France and whilst neither lamp or shade are marked it has characteristics associated with products from the NANCY region by , DAUM, EDGAR BRANDT, DELATTE, and LOUIS MAJORELLE.
Consisting of a wrought iron base with a leafy branch decor which stands at an impressive 38cm. This supports an even more impressive blown glass shade within a wrought iron cage with the same leafy design. The shade measures 32cm diameter and 30cm high giving the lamp an overall height of 66cm.
When found the metal work was badly neglected and had multiple paint splashes. All the metal work has been cleaned primed and repainted with hours of work and the shade meticulously cleaned. Fully rewired with 3 core vintage style cable with an inline switch an brass b22 bulb holder.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE A LOWER SECTION OF LEAF WORK IS MISSING AT THE REAR.
For overseas buyers this can be supplied with a EU or US plug together with a bulb converter from bayonet to small Edison screw
For US buyers this lamp will be tested in a 240V to 120V stepdown voltage converter which will ensure that it will be suitable for a US supply.
