This fantastic telephone lamp is perfect if you're searching for a unique gift for dad for Father’s Day or if you’re looking to buy something quirky for a lover of retro decor. Imagine the look on their face when they open this unique telephone gift and realise it is also a lamp.
We have this telephone Lamps available in different colours and styles, this one is our 60s mod version.
These are from our 'Call me old fashioned' Range and made by our very own crazy designer Professor Pat Pending ( Nick my hubby and other half of Ladybird Lane)
The technical bit-
created from a Vintage 1960’s GPO rotary dial telephone that was no longer working or viable to convert to digital. Various parts from different colour phones in the range have been combined to represent a red white and blue roundel effect characteristic of the mods era. A small metal lambretta scooter badge has also been added.
A flexible chrome goose neck fitting has been secured between the base and the handset to enable a 12V power supply to the handset, complete with led capsule bulb.
The lamp is switched on with a low voltage inline switch permanently wired within the telephones case
These phones have had all the original internal wiring removed, so no matter how hard you try you can't connect to a landline but the dial does work and your children will be amazed at how long it takes to dial a number on one.
We can supply a 2 Pin European, US or Australian power supply if you wish. Please add a note at checkout
Your lamp will come complete with its own 12V power supply with a 1m cable. For an additional cost we can supply an extension cable of either 1m or 3m giving more flexibility. Please add a note at checkout
