The technical bit -
This boosey and hawks trumpet has a serial number dating it to the 1970’s. It had originally been converted to a lamp in the 1980’s but had been dangerously wired and was no longer working. It has had years of grime partially cleaned from it but not stripped back so as to retain its aged appearance. Now mounted on a vintage wooden lamp base and fitted with a new e14 lamp fitting powered by a 12v mains power supply. It is finished with a Tiffany style leaded glass shade on a harp fitting
