This tall carved wood table lamp is a lovely original English antique item that will be perfectly at home in your British vintage decor. The technical bit-
This is an original late 1800’s - early 1900’s very tall slender wooden lamp base with both turned and carved beautiful styling . Fitted with an original bakelite switched B22 bulb holder from a later period probably 1950’s. The turned base has its original flat lead sheet weighted plate for stability. The lamp has been rewired using a contemporary two core braided cable before being finished with a wax polish and lightly buffed. This is in lovely condition and a very attractive antique lamp. There is a small historic crack in the wood at the back at the base of the column where it at some point was over tightened , this was probably glued years ago and is stable. shown in the photos.
For overseas buyers this can be supplied with a EU or US plug together with a bulb converter from bayonet to small Edison screw
For US buyers this lamp will be tested in a 240V to 120V stepdown voltage converter which will ensure that it will be suitable for a US supply.
