This vintage lamp is a great example of quirky 1950s home decor. The wooden light with its image of swans is very unusual and will make a great accent light in a vintage setting or in a lounge with a more modern contemporary look as an eye catching statement piece.
The technical bit-
This turned wooden lamp dates from the late 1950’ - early 1960’s and features a fish eye lens mounted in the centre. Behind the lens is a print from an artwork entitled Harmony of Spring painted by Vernon Ward a renowned artist of Swans. The lamp has been sympathetically cleaned and rewired with a vintage style braided cable. A new e14 small edison bulb holder has been fitted along with an inline switch.
