The Technical Bit -
This was originally a piece of GPO industrial electrical test equipment. The internal workings have been removed and a 12v low voltage mains supply installed. The original switches have been used to operate two separate lighting circuits.
The central toggle switch operates two individual led lights within the upper glass tube giving the choice of red or clear light. The central lamp is illuminated by the switch just below it and is fitted with a blue light which is dimmable by rotating the lower left control knob.
