The Technical Bit -
This was originally a piece of GPO industrial electrical test equipment. The internal workings have been removed and a 12v low voltage mains supply installed. The original switches have been used to operate two separate lighting circuits.
The lower right control knob illuminates the adjustable gooseneck lamp which is then dimmable by using the lower left control.
The central lens is illuminated by the switch just below it and is fitted with a red light and finally the upper central toggle switch illuminates a flicker flame effect in the central lens as an alternative or in conjunction with the red light.
