The technical bit-
Created using the remains of a broken but extremely rare stone flagon dating from the 1890’s. The broken parts have been ground to remove any sharp edges before being mounted on a wooden base. A wooden antique barley twist candlestick has been added having been modified to a mains voltage lamp with an E14 small Edison screw bulb holder. For decorative effect a beautifully detailed resin mouse has been added sitting within the broken vessel. The lamp is completed with a vintage style pierced cage lamp with an opening door for easy access changing the bulb. The shade has been drilled to create vents allowing shafts of light to spill down onto the base as well as casting abstract silhouettes on to the walls.
The lamp measures approx 10” wide x 8” deep x 19” high
25cm Wide x 20cm Deep x 48cm High
