This pair of gold colour vintage French style lamps are a lovely example of 1930’s chateau decor. These chamberstick lamps will make you smile as they remind you of the Wee Willie Winkie nursery rhyme. The lamps are beautifully cast and have bags of character and vintage charm. The addition of the flickering flame effect bulbs is the icing on the cake and recreates the vintage candle holder look. These beautiful lamps will make a gorgeous accent piece in a vintage setting.
The technical bit-
These chamber stick style lamps date from the 1930’s and are made from reinforced plaster type material. When found these were in very good condition structurally but badly painted. Stripped and repainted with a gold leaf spray they are fitted with an edison screw double insulated bulb holder bonded into the plaster candle and are rewired with an inline switch.
The lamps will come with 4 bulbs, two flickering flame and 2 Led golf ball style for the clip on shades. The shades are new and included.
