The technical bit-
Fully converted, this industrial inspection lamp dates from the 1960’s. The cage was missing when found and has been replaced with a contemporary copper fitting. It has been degreased and cleaned before having the bakelite cage support sprayed black and the gripper bracket copper. Fitted with a double insulated contemporary bakelite e27 large edison screw bulb holder it is wired on a new two core braided style cable with inline switch and finished with a vintage style low energy led bulb.
The metal gripper has had rubber protector pads added for protection of surfaces.
