The technical bit-
This rare telescopic chrome lamp was made by a 1930’s - 40’s British lighting company called D&G who were more commonly known for there adjustable angle industrial machine lamps. Constructed with a chrome finished heavy metal base the hydraulic style damper can be adjusted in height and holds its position from internal rubber “O” rings which have been replaced. Sympathetically cleaned and polished it has been rewired on a clear 3 core cable with the original bulb holder being retained with the addition of an earth connection. Fitted with an original period glass multi sided uplighter shade with a pearlescent Marbled finish
For overseas buyers this can be supplied with a EU or US plug together with a bulb converter from bayonet to small Edison screw
For US buyers this lamp will be tested in a 240V to 120V stepdown voltage converter which will ensure that it will be suitable for a US supply.
