This vintage brass lamp will add some English style to your 1920s home decor. The perfect british gift for a lover of brass & glass antique lighting or treat yourself to this quintessential statement piece
The technical bit -
Having no makers stamp but stamped in two places with separate pattern numbers that suggest a manufacturing date of 1925. Made from brass with a pivoting articulated knuckle joint enabling the position of the lamp to be angled. Although now mounted on a vintage oak base, this was originally wall mounted possibly in a train carriage or ship. It has been disassembled cleaned and rewired on a 3 core vintage style earthed cable and has been safety tested. It has been fitted with new brass nuts and a vintage style contemporary glass shade and carrier. Is can still be used as free standing or wall hanging.
