The Technical Bit -
This retro spaceage style lamp probably dates from the 1950’s - 60’s. Constructed from a wooden sphere on tripod wooden legs. When found despite the wood being good the original red and white paint was badly scratched and flaking.it has been sympathetically sanded back primed and spray painted in its original colours. The original bulb b22 bulb holder has been retained and rewired on red braided flex with an original inline torpedo switch.
The shade is from the same period and has had the plastic ribbon replaced to match the base.
The lamp measures 5.5” across feet x 10.5” high
14cm across feet x 27cm high
For overseas buyers this can be supplied with a EU or US plug together with a bulb converter from bayonet to small Edison screw
For US buyers this lamp will be tested in a 240V to 120V stepdown voltage converter which will ensure that it will be suitable for a US supply.
