This vintage Art Nouveau lamp is a lovely example of 1920s home decor. The stepped styling of the wooden base compliments the fabulous orange marbled glass teardrop shade. It will make a gorgeous accent piece in a vintage setting or in a lounge with a more modern contemporary look as an eye catching statement piece.
The technical bit-
This original Art Nouveau lamp consists of a turned stepped hardwood base with a brass gallery with a new edison screw bulb holder added. The orange shade although unmarked is almost certainly of French origin.Having been completely disassembled and cleaned it has been rewired on two core braided cable with and safety tested. It should be noted that one of the gallery thumb screws although from the same period is not original to the lamp.
