This antique wooden turned table lamp is an early English style dating from the early 1900’s and will be perfectly at home in your British vintage decor. Just add your choice of shade to make a gorgeous accent light in a vintage setting or in a lounge with a more modern contemporary look as an eye catching statement piece.
The technical bit
This tall original early 1900’s lamp base has beautiful carving both on its base and column rising to a carved gallery. It has been sympathetically cleaned with a professional wood cleaner but not stripped back so as not to remove it’s natural patina. Retaining its original brass switched b22 bulb holder and rewired with a 3 core earthed braided cable. It has been finished with a wax polish then lightly buffed.
For overseas buyers this can be supplied with a EU or US plug together with a bulb converter from bayonet to small Edison screw
For US buyers this lamp will be tested in a 240V to 120V stepdown voltage converter which will ensure that it will be suitable for a US supply.
