The technical bit -
This late Victorian wooden lamp base has a wide platform with a reasonably short column. The style suggests this may have originally supported an oil lamp having later been converted. Sympathetically cleaned and waxed It is fitted with a 40’s bakelite b22 bulb holder and fully rewired with an inline switch.
The quality used shade is in very clean condition.

For overseas buyers this can be supplied with an EU or US plug together with a bulb converter from bayonet to small Edison screw
For US buyers this lamp will be tested in a 240V to 120V stepdown voltage converter which will ensure that it will be suitable for a US supply.
