The technical bit -
This rare to find lamp was manufactured in a much smaller size than normally found for this style of lamp . Dating from the 1920’s this antique solid copper & brass Corinthian column lamp had been badly neglected but was complete without damage. Painstakingly cleaned in an effort to remove the dirt but not so as to polish away it’s beautiful patina the lamp is now fit for another 100 years of use. Consisting of a heavy cast base with a pressed copper cover and solid copper column sections and retaining its original brass paddle switch and B22 bulb holder. It is fully rewired on three core cable incorporating an earthed connection and fitted with a contemporary glass shade in the same Art Deco style.
For overseas buyers this can be supplied with a EU or US plug together with a bulb converter from bayonet to small Edison screw
For US buyers this lamp will be tested in a 240V to 120V stepdown voltage converter which will ensure that it will be suitable for a US supply.
