The technical bit -
This antique oak wooden lamp dates from the late 1890’s early 1900’s and is designed in a typical barley twist style sitting on a stepped base. Turned with an extremely thick stem measuring 6.5cm in diameter and topped with its original polished brass G.E.C stalk complete with b22 paddle switch.
It has been rewired on a vintage style 3 core braided cable with its bulb holder being earthed.
Sympathetically cleaned and waxed with the brass work cleaned and polished this is back to its former glory.
For overseas buyers this can be supplied with an EU or US plug together with a bulb converter from bayonet to small Edison screw
For US buyers this lamp will be tested in a 240V to 120V stepdown voltage converter which will ensure that it will be suitable for a US supply.
