The technical bit-
This is an original late 1800’s - early 1900’s slender wooden lamp base which is both turned and carved in a beautiful style. Fitted with an original brass switched B22 bulb holder from a later period, probably 1920’s.The turned base has its original flat lead sheet weighted plate for stability. The lamp has been rewired using a contemporary three core braided cable before being finished with a wax polish and lightly buffed. This is in lovely condition and a very attractive antique lamp.
For overseas buyers this can be supplied with a EU or US plug together with a bulb converter from bayonet to small Edison screw
For US buyers this lamp will be tested in a 240V to 120V stepdown voltage converter which will ensure that it will be suitable for a US supply.
