This vintage marble and brass table lamp is a lovely example of 1950’s home decor. This british antique light has lovely cube shaped onyx with coloured veining column sections and base . This will make a gorgeous accent light in a vintage setting or in a lounge with a more modern contemporary look as an eye catching statement piece.
The technical bit-
This is an original 1950’s onyx and brass lamp. Consisting of a heavy turned & polished base with polished onyx cubes each separated by decorative metal spacers. The spacers had been previously painted very badly but they have now been stripped and spray painted using a gold leaf style paint. It has been dismantled cleaned rewired and safety tested before being fitted with a new inline switch and finished with a glass globe style shade.
For overseas buyers this can be supplied with an EU or US plug together with a bulb converter from bayonet to small Edison screw
For US buyers this lamp will be tested in a 240V to 120V stepdown voltage converter which will ensure that it will be suitable for a US supply.
