A gorgeous Art Deco sculptured chrome lamp with a bakelite base & glass beaded shade that will look amazing in a vintage home decor setting. This English Antique will make a stylish bedside light or put in a lounge with a more modern contemporary look as an eye catching statement piece.
The technical bit-
This original Art Deco chrome lamp base is typical of the geometric sculptural designs during the 1920’s & 30’s. consisting of a heavy polished metal column standing on a thick black Bakelite base. The lamp has been dismantled and cleaned before being rewired and fitted with an earth connection. The bakelite bayonet bulb holder is original to the lamp having probably been replaced in the 1940’s. Comes complete with its original lampshade gallery together with a 1980’s deco style tasseled bead lampshade. ALTHOUGH NOT NOTICABLE THE SHADE MAY HAVE SOME SMALL BEADS MISSING.

This can be supplied with a UK, EU or US plug together with a bulb converter from bayonet to small Edison screw
