This stunning pair of mid century atomic burgundy / mulberry coloured tripod lamps are the perfect lighting for a lover of space age decor. These will look gorgeous in a vintage style lounge or in any home with a more modern contemporary look as eye catching statement pieces or as mid century modern bedside lighting.
The technical bit-
Made in the late 1950’s these small lamps were made in a popular space age atomic style of that time. When found they were in a very sorry state but have been dismantled, cleaned, primed and spray painted in colours close to those origionally used. Fully rewired on a vintage style braided cable with new small edison screw bulb holder but retaining the inline torpedo switches. They are finished with a beautiful pair of matching colour coordinated plastic faceted shades from the same period. Internally a ballast weight has been fitted to give these lamps extra stability.
