The technical bit -
Probably dating from between the 1930’s - 1950’s cast in brass in a neo classical style of a Dolphin, Fish, Koi. The body and base are cast in two separate sections with a brass harp shade bracket which supports a brass shade. The shade is made in three sections being the main body and two ship designs being cut and soldiered in position. Finally the shade is held in position with a dolphin style finial. The original bakelite switched B22 bulb holder has been retained and rewired complete with an earth connection before being electrically safety tested. The shade can easily be replaced with a contemporary one of your choice in a style compatible with harp fittings.
