This unique retro lamp is the perfect light for your desk or a vintage gift to add some quirky charm to your home or office decor. This lamp will be a talking point in your home and will brighten up a dark corner.
The technical bit-
This lamp has been created using a vintage wooden telephone exchange unit with combined bell box. The internal workings have been removed but the line selector switch and bell gongs retained. It has been wired on a mains 12v power supply and fitted with an antique French style handset & cradle from a 1980’s phone.The selector switch has been wired to illuminate two lights. Firstly a red internal lamp that illuminates the small front window and secondly an e14 bulb on a brass stalk with a vintage shade and gallery.
The original crank handle located on the side has been adapted to act as a dimmer for the upper light.
Your lamp will come complete with its own 12V power supply with a 1m cable. For an additional cost we can supply an extension cable of either 1m or 3m giving more flexibility. Please add a note at checkout.
