The technical bit-
This is made from the outer case of an original 1950’s - 60’s microphone of a type that was used in radio. All the internal parts are removed and the metal case polished. Mounted on a shaped wooden base it has been fitted with a 12v mains power supply that operates an internal blue led light via its original switch which has been modified to an on/off button type. In conjunction with the internal light the contemporary ON AIR sign also illuminates.
